周学望（Silas Chiow）， AIA，上海SOM建筑设计事务所中国区总裁。他负责在大中华区域引领SOM建筑设计事务所的商业策略，推动中国大陆和泛亚洲区域的建筑和规划项目。他于1987年在纽约SOM建筑设计事务所开始了他的职业生涯，在为几个知名项目工作时，他发现了自己对于纽约高层建筑的激情，比如：艾林（Allyn）街180号、公园街320号、以及华尔街金融中心。周先生在横滨城市设计大赛中获得了他的第一个奖项。在过去的21年里，周学望在亚洲地区习得了大量作为一个建筑师、城市规划师以及项目经理所需要的专业技能。他的专业技能涉及各种项目类型，包括接待业、零售业、多功能混合开发、居住复合建筑、会展中心、公共机构、居住区以及酒店。
Director of China at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM)Silas Chiow, AIA, serves as Director of China at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) in Shanghai. He is responsible for spearheading SOM's business strategies in Greater China and facilitating its architecture and planning projects throughout the mainland and greater Asia. He began his career at SOM New York in 1987 and discovered his passion for the New York hi-rise by working on several prestigious projects, such as: 180 Allyn Street; 320 Park Avenue; and Wall Street Financial Center. In 1992, Mr. Chiow won first prize at the Yokohama International Urban Design Competition. Over the last 21 years, Silas has gained tremendous expertise as an architect, urban planner and project manager throughout the Asia region. His expertise extends to all project types, including hospitality, retail, mixed-use developments, residential complexes, convention centers, institutions, housing and hotels.
